Sr. Consultant John Kossos has 20+ years of occupational health and safety, environmental, energy and security management experience in diversified manufacturing and industrial settings.  

John holds a Master of Science in Safety Management from West Virginia University’s College of Engineering & Mineral Resources. 

He is a Board Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Instructional Trainer (CIT) and Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST) through the Board of Certified Safety Professionals. He also holds the Certified Electrical Safety Compliance Professional (CESCP) credential through the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA).

He is an OSHA Authorized Trainer in General Industry and Construction, an Approved Trainer in Hydrogen Sulfide Awareness and a Certified BLS Instructor for First Aid and CPR/AED through the American Heart Association.

John serves as an Adjunct Instructor at the OSHA Training Institute Education Center at West Virginia University.
